Dr. Nadezhda Darzhaeva

She is a senior researcher at the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist, and Tibetan Studies (Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences) in Ulan-Ude, Buryatia, Russian Federation.
The main focus of her research is the syntax of Mongolic languages, especially Buryat. Together with Professor Elena Skribnik, she completed one volume of the Academic Grammar of Buryat (Syntax) and the project on the Buryat comparative and conditional constructions. In the project “Digital Adverbial Construction of the Three Mongolic Languages”, she worked on the Buryat data and completed the semantic and structural analysis of complex adverbial constructions in Buryat.
